1. Service Description
SiftlyAPI provides trust scoring for signup quality. Our API analyzes:
- ✓Email address quality and patterns
- ✓IP address geolocation and reputation
- ✓Request velocity patterns
- ✓User agent and device fingerprint
2. Acceptable Use
Use SiftlyAPI only for legitimate signup quality assessment.
You agree NOT to:
- ✕Use for malicious or fraudulent purposes
- ✕Attempt to bypass rate limits
- ✕Reverse engineer or scrape the service
- ✕Use to discriminate or violate laws
3. Rate Limits

Exceeding rate limits returns 429 Too Many Requests.
4. Pricing

Pro subscriptions via Polar. Cancel anytime.
Payment Terms:
Billed monthly via Polar. Cancel anytime — no refunds for partial months.
5. Limitation of Liability
⚠️ FAIL-OPEN STRATEGY
On errors, we allow signup by default (fail-open) rather than blocking legitimate users.
Service provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- ●False positives or negatives in scoring
- ●Business losses from fraudulent signups
- ●Service downtime or errors
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you:
- ●Violate these terms
- ●Abuse the service
- ●Use the service illegally
7. Service Level Agreement
✓Uptime: 100% via fail-open (target 99.9%)
✓Response: 10-40ms typical, <100ms guaranteed
✓Support: 48hr response (tiers: 4hr/24hr/48hr)
